The operator needed information from an existing business system for custom reporting and dashboards. Collecting and copying that information by hand took 6–8 hours each week. We learned the process and built the collection around the data the business needed.
The starting point: manual collection and copying
The original weekly workflow involved collecting business data and copying it into a form the operator could use. We are sharing the process and results anonymously, without identifying the client or its franchise systems.
The build: custom Java automation
We built a custom Java automation that starts with a button click, captures the data, and makes it ready for the operator to use in reporting and dashboards. It replaces the complete manual collection and copy-and-paste process.
The measured result: five minutes
Timing the original and completed work showed a reduction from 6–8 hours of manual work per week to a five-minute automated process. This covers the full data collection and copying task, rather than just one step. The operator can then use the data for the reporting and business decisions it supports.

No. It is a completed custom project demonstrating our capabilities. We scope each new solution around the business, its available data, and the reporting it needs.
Can you build something similar for our franchise or POS?
We can assess the available data and authorized access options. A similar reporting goal may require a different collection method, data model, or dashboard for your system.
Does every reporting project need the same technology?
No. This project used Java. We choose the tools for each engagement based on the source systems, deployment environment, maintenance requirements, and cost.
