Completed project / Website refresh

Texas Jewelers Association website refresh.

We refreshed the Texas Jewelers Association (TJA) website around the people who use it: members, prospective members, and visitors looking for events and industry resources. We worked with the existing WordPress theme, branding, and content to give the site a clearer, more consistent presentation.

A fresh experience, built on what was already there.

An established website contains more than a design. It holds useful information, familiar page addresses, and years of resources. For TJA, our approach was to improve how that material was presented and reached while retaining the foundation the association already had.

Keep the brand and the useful content

We extended the existing WordPress theme and retained TJA’s identity. Existing association information, resources, and page addresses provided the starting point. We reorganized selected pages rather than requiring every page to be rewritten, while preserving historical articles and document destinations.

More consistent pages, from desktop to phone

We updated the shared header, footer, typography, spacing, and page layouts. Selected information pages use clearer sections, resource cards, and document lists to make existing material easier to scan. The work included checking narrow-screen layouts and addressing header overlap and navigation layering.

Preserve continuity and improve the search foundation

We retained existing page addresses and improved page descriptions, heading structure, image descriptions, and structured data. These changes give search engines and answer systems clearer information about the pages. They are improvements to the site’s foundation, not a claim of measured ranking gains or a guarantee that rankings will stay unchanged.

Explore the completed refresh

The refreshed website brings TJA’s membership information, events, member directory, and educational resources into a more consistent presentation. This project shows how a focused refresh can improve an existing site while keeping its identity and useful content.

Could your website benefit from a refresh?

We start by learning how your organization works and what visitors need to accomplish. If your branding, content, and platform still fit, a focused refresh may be the right next step. We review what to retain, what needs attention, and how your team will maintain the site before defining the work.

  • Organizing membership, event, and resource information.
  • Updating search metadata and structured content.

Good questions. Clear answers.

A little more clarity.

Did this project replace TJA’s website platform?

No. We worked within the existing WordPress setup and extended its existing theme. The project focused on presentation, navigation, and organization of the content.

Does a website refresh require all-new copy?

Not necessarily. For TJA, existing content and branding provided the foundation. We reorganized selected pages and improved presentation. For another business, we would first review whether its current content is accurate and useful.

Was the convention registration system part of this website refresh?

The convention registration application was a separate custom software project. This page focuses on the public website refresh and the routes visitors use to reach association information and convention resources.

Does keeping existing URLs guarantee the same Google rankings?

No. Preserving useful URLs helps maintain continuity for existing links and visitors, but rankings depend on many factors. We do not claim a measured traffic, ranking, or conversion increase for this project.
